Jean, our logistics leader, explains: “The feasibility of collection is directly linked to our logistics network. We leverage existing delivery routes, whether they are terrestrial or for port support, to perform the collection on the return trip. This optimizes transport, avoiding exclusive trips and reducing costs and carbon emissions.” This strategic approach ensures that the process is sustainable not only from an environmental standpoint but also an operational one.

Feasibility Analysis: “Today, we serve strategic clients for reverse logistics,” explains Marcelo. “To expand the program, we are developing an internal procedure where the Commercial, Logistics, and Quality departments will jointly analyze the feasibility of each collection, ensuring the operation is always positive.”

Risk Management: “Improper collection, storage, and disposal can generate environmental, operational, and reputational risks,” warns Marcelo. “To mitigate this, we conduct partner audits, ensure full traceability of waste, use standardized procedures, and perform continuous monitoring, guaranteeing compliance and protecting our brand’s reputation.”

Strategic Partnerships: The choice of recycling partners is crucial. “We evaluate environmental certifications (like ISO 14001), valid licenses, and compliance with standards such as MARPOL. Only partners who demonstrate responsibility and transparency are approved, ensuring that the cycle reflects Eurosul’s standards of quality and trust.”
