Successor to the Jotron TR20 – discontinued batteries
The TR30 is the direct replacement for the Jotron TR20, a GMDSS radio discontinued in 2017. In 2024, Jotron also discontinued production of the TR20’s replacement batteries:
• P/N 80059 – NiMH Battery 7.2V / 1500mAh
• P/N 80060 – Emergency Lithium Battery 6V, 2900mAh
Discontinued batteries – the manufacturer recommends replacing with the complete TR30 radio.
End of Life on 07/01/2024, per Jotron’s official notice.
Customers with a TR20 in operation should migrate to the TR30.
