Chemola™ Desco Polymel 422 is a premium synthetic polymer-based lubricant designed specifically for acid and acid gas services. With its unique combination of solid lubricants—molybdenum disulfide and graphite—it provides excellent metal adhesion, corrosion resistance, and performance under extreme temperatures and pressures. Polymel 422 is effective across a broad chemical range, making it ideal for use in gate, plug, and ball valves exposed to harsh substances such as H₂S, hydrofluoric acid, sour crude oil, and condensates. It also functions as a protective coating against acidic and corrosive environments in pipelines and petrochemical facilities.
