Chemola™ Desco 960 is a cost-effective body-fill grease developed for protecting new or repaired valves during storage and shipping. Designed to displace moisture and contaminants from the valve cavity, it ensures corrosion protection under non-aggressive storage conditions. Formulated with mineral base oil and enhanced antioxidant and corrosion inhibitor additives, it adheres well to metal surfaces. Although not intended for high-performance valve service, Desco 960 is widely used by OEMs and valve repair shops due to its protective reliability in transit and idle storage environments.
