Chemola™ Desco 620 is a “peanut butter” style synthetic sealant/lubricant developed specifically for gate valves operating in liquid and gas hydrocarbon service. Known in the field by its consistency, Desco 620 is the standard product requested whenever “peanut butter” is referenced in valve maintenance. With a 100% synthetic base oil and an option for a softer “creamy” version, this compound ensures sealing integrity under demanding operating conditions. It adheres well to metal surfaces and performs reliably in the presence of water, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alkalis, and dilute acids.
